GASFITTERS – CLASS A install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas lines and gas fired equipment with unlimited British Thermal Units (BTU) in residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and agricultural settings. They also service, repair, remove and replace gas-fired equipment and components of gas-fired equipment. Performing tasks:

  • Performs safety -related functions and common occupational skills.
  • Gas Piping Preparation and Assembly.
  • Installs venting and air supply systems.
  • Selects and installs electrical and electronic components, and instrumentation control systems.
  • Installs gas-fires systems and propane storage.
  • Tests and commissions of gas-fires systems.
  • Servicing gas-fired systems.
