LANDSCAPE HORTICULTURIST survey and assess landscapes, draw sketches and interpret plans. They construct and maintain gardens, parks, golf courses and other landscape environments. Performing tasks:

  • Performs safety-related functions and common occupational skills.
  • Applies horticultural principles and practices.
  • Performs landscape construction and maintenance.
  • Installs hardscape and softscape and green infrastructure systems.
  • Works in production of plant material: growing facilities and greenhouse crops.
