This Terms of Use pertains to The Native Women’s Association of Canada’s (NWAC) National Apprenticeship Program (NAP) (Also referred to as “we” or “our”).  By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

  • To ensure you meet the requirements to register a user account on the website;
  • To collect information on or about the users and visitors to the website for the purpose of producing disaggregated data for the purposes of ameliorating marketing and advertising for the website and reporting requirements to the Government of Canada.

The personal data and uses specified under this term may be shared with third parties engaged in the NAP. All third parties that we have engaged have appropriate safeguards in place to protect your personal information.  Consult their websites for further information. Third parties may change over time and a current list is available to you upon request by contacting NWAC referencing these Terms of Use and detailing in what context your personal information was provided. It must be understood that we may not be able to provide certain services without the information collected.

Risk of Harm and other consequences

Should there be a privacy breach relating to the personal information that you provided to us, we will assess whether this breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you. If so, we will notify you and suggest steps to take to reduce to the risk of harm, if possible.

How is Your Personal Information Protected?

NWAC uses a variety of measures to protect the personal information it collects, including physical, organizational and technological measures.  Any personal information will be treated by NWAC in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable privacy laws. No data transmission over the internet or data storage system can be guaranteed as 100% secure. Any transmission is at your own risk.
